Shabot Obaadjiwan Ventures Inc. / Entreprise Shabot Obaadjiwan Inc. is a federal corporation (CBCA #1362925-2) incorporated January 1, 2022. We are an Aboriginal-designated business providing IT and professional services primarily to the Government of Canada from our base in Ottawa, Ontario.
The name Shabot Obaadjiwan honours the Shabot Obaadjiwan Algonquin community — an Anishinaabe people of the Ottawa Valley, of which our founder is a proud member.
Indigenous Designation
We operate with Aboriginal business designation, eligible under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) administered by Indigenous Services Canada. Our CAB certification through the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business reflects our commitment to Indigenous economic participation in the Canadian economy.
